Concours d'Elegance Villa d'Este.

With the delivery of the Best of show title to the imposing 1935 Duesenberg SJ Speedster specially ordered for a 28-year-old Maharaja of India, the 2023 edition of the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este has ended and will surely be remembered for the imposing Indian army of Maharajas' automobiles as much as for the incessant Saturday rain.

The Concorso remains the most important event of the year for vintage car lovers where collectors from all over the world submit their jewels to the meticulous eye of a prestigious international jury. Furthermore, Sunday at Villa Erba remains the perfect occasion for the general public for a fun day for the whole family with many activities parallel to the exhibition of the participating cars.

Great master of ceremonies as always the indispensable Simon Kidston, hero of Saturday conducting the presentation without an umbrella, brilliant as always on Sunday with his impeccable Britishness in perfect Italian.

The Lopresto collection presented the splendid 1955 Lancia Florida Pinin Farina at the competition, an excellent combination of elegance and innovation by the brilliant Italian coachbuilder. Foulon, interpreting the non-sporting spirit of the car and the style of the Fifties, has created an exclusive suede glove dedicated to participation in the Competition in collaboration with and made to measure for Corrado Lopresto.
